Windows paging files have been around for years. Basicly a paging file is a way to extend your usable memory beyond what RAM you have installed on your system.
To help you understand what a paging file is, how it works and how you should setup your system, this video has a high-level tutorial on paging files, RAM, hard drives (HDD) and solid state drives (SSD). The tutorial should prepare you so you can examine your system and find out if you need to add memory or storage space. Then you'll be able to adjust the system's settings to make the best use of your hardware.
