The YouTube watch list stores your entire watch history for various reasons. Besides allowing you to revisit videos that you may want to watch again, it stores them for their own purposes. Including usage statistics and otherwise.
But you may not want that history on display for others to view. Fortunately, YouTube has made it easy to manage your YouTube watch history. You can turn it off completely, save only a specified period in the past or delete individual entries as you see fit.
