The quick settings buttons on your Android phone can save you a lot of time. What's even better is you can customize them to appear on the initial notification panel. 

Configured correctly, you can place your most used settings to appear in the top 4-5 buttons, allowing you to access your quick settings with just one swipe.

If you need more settings available, you can place the other important settings buttons to appear on the first page of settings, near the top. You don't have to leave the setting buttons buried on the second page.
