There may be a time where you want to have two smart devices activate in tandem. But you don't want to have to give two commands.So that's where Kasa Smart Actions come into play. You can setup and action that detects when a particular device is activated. Then, if there is a Smart Action associated with it, it will perform the actions that are setup for that situation. In fact, you can even setup that Smart Action to occur only on certain days or only during certain times of the day.
Here's a simple smart action to show how you set it up. And don't forget, you can setup an Alexa or Google command to activate that device and if there is a smart action associated with it and it's the proper day and time, it will perform the secondary action.
