Online security can be a problem for younger children, but don't forget about your parents or grandparents. Many of them don't have the underlying technical background to correctly setup their computers, phones and apps.

Here's a review of just some of the steps you should take when helping them setup their devices. Configuring Facebook, Instagram, WiFi and Data limits are just a few of the things you should review on their phones.

Don't forget to be patient and go through each one with them. Just taking their phone and changing all the settings doesn't help them in the long run. Help them understand how data security works and how to be safe online.
