If your Android phone isn't as responsive as you would like, you might be able to speed it up with just a small tweak. Depending on your model and Android version, you can access your screen animation settings and change them to reduce the number of animations during certain activity.
Each time you launch an app or switch between screens your phone has to redraw the screen. In order to have a smooth transition, it has animation levels that can be increased to have many steps in the animation or just a few to speed it up.
So here's how to change your settings in two different versions of Android. Both are on Samsung devices.
